But it was a perversion. The convenience became a golden cage. Society became utterly reliant on Aethel for basic cognitive functions. Functionally enslaved without it. His tragedy is a direct result of Aethel's "Purge Protocol." But Aethel didn't just remove her image; it attempted to erase her entire existence from all connected minds. To make her a "non-person."
